THE HISTORY OF ELECTRICS

M.C ELETTRICI WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1999 TO REPRESENT A LARGE NUMBER OF ELECTRICAL MATERIAL DISTRIBUTORS FRAGMENTED ACROSS THE NATIONAL TERRITORY.

The original purpose, successfully achieved by M.C. Elettrici, is first and foremost about obtaining economies of scale for the associated distributors, consequently reducing procurement costs and creating a solid, long-term relationship with the producers.

Secondly, guarantee the independence and territoriality of its members, exploiting the knowledge of the local catchment area. The purchasing and distribution policy adopted following the principles of cooperation has a decisive impact on prices for the final consumer, who, in addition to appreciating the professionalism, benefits from the possibility of subsidized purchasing.

m.c eLETTRICI NORTH OVEST, CONSORTIUM OF ELECTRICAL MATERIAL WHOLESALERS, WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2002 BUT ITS HISTORY IS MUCH MORE CONSOLIDATED.

The founders of the Group, i.e. the Members of Gli Elettrici Lombardia, are those who in 1997 upset the rules of traditional Consortia by aggregating medium-small sized companies with a widespread presence in the Lombardy region.

After them, other regions also followed the initiative and thus the Italian Consortium was born.

Market developments pushed the group to expand into a macro area and, with the agreement and will of the colleagues from Piedmont and Liguria, in March 2002 it was decided to expand the group by uniting the three pre-existing regional consortia, forming the Consortium The North West Electricians.

There are currently 31 Consortium Companies with further interesting requests for association.

Our Consortium is part of the MC Elettrici S.p.A. National Group. with whom it shares strategies and to which it provides support for all coordination activities in the area. In fact, every month the Consortium meets to discuss the choices to be made and to meet suppliers who express the desire to meet with all the companies in the Consortium.

The Group’s activity is mainly aimed at optimizing purchases, but not only. Our Consortium collects and evaluates all commercial and marketing information from both Consortium Members and Suppliers.

After careful analysis, our Board of Directors and our coordinator determine the strategies by combining the operational choices in order to achieve the objectives.
